Newegg has listed the ABS Stratos II Ruby gaming PC at $2,549.99. This price reflects a $450 reduction from the standard list price. The system combines an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card.
The configuration includes 32GB of DDR5 memory. The processor is an eight-core chip that utilizes AMD's 3D V-Cache technology. This design expands the L3 cache to 96MB. A larger cache allows the CPU to access slower system memory less frequently, which reduces latency and stabilizes frame rates. Although the chip no longer tops all benchmark lists, it remains near the top for gaming performance. No Intel processor currently matches the X3D series in this specific metric.
The graphics card is a current-generation Nvidia Blackwell model. It features 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 video memory. This card targets mid- to high-tier users playing at 1440p and 4K resolutions. It supports DLSS with multi-frame generation. Reviewers note that the card can handle 4K gaming with ray tracing in modern titles. Users may need to adjust settings in the most demanding games to maintain performance. The 16GB of video memory provides more capacity than the 8GB found on lower-end RTX 5060 and RTX 5050 models.
The system includes two 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws M.2 Neo RGB memory modules running at 6,000 MT/s. Storage consists of a 2TB Team Group NV5000 M.2 solid-state drive with Gen 4 speeds. This capacity allows for several large game installations. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Ethernet. A Bitspower 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler manages heat from the processor.
ABS is a brand exclusive to Newegg, which explains the retailer's inventory of these systems. The Stratos II Ruby is currently the least expensive RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC available on the site. Tom's Hardware reported that the offer is expected to sell out quickly. The outlet described the pricing as strong for the current market, citing the discount and the specific hardware combination.
