iPhone Duo requires 60W adapters to reach 20-minute half charge
Apple's documentation specifies exact hardware for wired and wireless speeds on the new dual-screen phone.

Apple published new support documentation on October 23 detailing the specific hardware required for the iPhone Duo to achieve its fastest charging speeds. The company states that the phone can reach 50 percent battery in roughly 20 minutes when charged via a wired connection.
This wired speed depends on using the USB-C cable included in the box. Users must pair that cable with a compatible power adapter. Apple lists its own 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max as one option, priced at $34. Alternatively, third-party adapters rated for 60W or more can be used, provided they support Adjustable Voltage Supply and USB Power Delivery 3.2.
Wireless charging offers a slower but still rapid option. Apple says the iPhone Duo can reach 50 percent in about 30 minutes using a MagSafe Charger. That accessory is listed at $30. Users can also use an adapter rated at 35W or higher, with Apple pointing to compatible options from Anker.
The 9to5Mac author noted that third-party chargers often provide better value than Apple's own power adapters. The publication highlighted Anker's 100W charging brick as a top pick that works well with iPhones, Macs, and iPads. The writer also mentioned that Apple's 40W adapter remains a good deal for those preferring a first-party option at its reduced price.
For users who need more cable length, Apple offers an official 2-meter USB-C cable. The article notes this item is currently available at a discount. Apple's documentation confirms the iPhone Duo supports fast charging over both wired and wireless connections, but the headline speeds rely on these specific accessory pairings.
