Fi is reducing the cost of its satellite-connected pet trackers by 30 percent through October 25, a move that lowers the price of the flagship Fi Ultra to $209.30. Shoppers must enter the coupon code SCARY at checkout to receive the discount, which effectively returns the device to its original launch price.
The hardware supports a combination of LTE, GPS, and Starlink satellite coverage, allowing pet owners to monitor locations even in areas without cellular service. The device holds an IP68 rating, making it fully waterproof in saltwater, and offers a battery life of up to five days depending on the animal's activity level. It attaches to a collar or harness and can emit sounds or vibrations to alert the pet. Fi markets the unit as the first dog tracker to integrate T-Satellite with Starlink, GPS, and LTE.
Testing conducted by The Verge earlier this year in remote parts of South Carolina revealed specific operational constraints. While tracking precision was high, the device updated location data every two to three minutes, a delay that could hinder users with fast-moving dogs. In Lost Mode, battery performance dropped sharply, with a full charge lasting barely two days. The physical size of the unit also suggests it fits larger dogs better than smaller breeds.
Using the tracking features requires an active subscription, which is not included in the hardware purchase. Fi offers discounted rates for the first term on six-month, one-year, and two-year plans. A one-year plan costs $99 for the initial year and $189 for subsequent years. These service plans are restricted to the United States, with no satellite coverage available in Alaska.
The discount is part of a wider selection of deals available on Amazon. Other listed items include a physical copy of Kirby Air Riders for the Nintendo Switch 2 at $48.99, down from the standard $69.99 price. The JLab JBuds Talk USB-C microphone is available for $24.99, a reduction from its usual range of $50 to $100. Additionally, the Lego Star Wars Grogu set is priced at $103.99, representing a $26 discount and the lowest recorded price for the 1,200-piece kit.
