Carolina and Green Bay meet on Thursday night seeking to rebound from Week 7 defeats. The Panthers were overwhelmed by the Buccaneers in a blowout loss. The Packers fell to the Lions when the game ended on its final play. Both rosters possess the talent to generate high scoring outputs, setting the stage for a high volume of touchdowns in the upcoming contest.

Kalshi, a prediction market platform, has released pricing for the first touchdown scorer in the game. Traders can access these odds using a promotional code for a bonus after making trades of twenty five dollars or more. The market lists nine players with prices ranging from five cents to fifteen cents per contract. These prices reflect the perceived probability of each player scoring the first touchdown of the game.

Josh Jacobs of the Packers holds the highest price at fifteen cents. Christian Watson, also of the Packers, follows at ten cents. Chuba Hubbard of the Panthers is listed at thirteen cents. Matthew Golden and Tucker Kraft of the Packers are both priced at eight cents. Tetairoa McMillan, Jalen Coker, Darren Waller, and Savion Williams round out the list with lower prices.

Hubbard has reasserted himself as the primary running back for Carolina following the departure of Rico Dowdle. He has accumulated 459 rushing yards and 112 receiving yards this season. He has also recorded six total touchdowns. His contract extension after the 2024 season has been validated by this current production. The market views him as the most likely option for the Panthers to open the scoring.

Watson has justified his four year contract extension worth up to 110.5 million dollars. He has posted 595 receiving yards and six touchdowns through the first eight weeks of the season. Although he has not scored in his last two games, quarterback Jordan Love continues to target him in critical situations. His injury history remains a point of discussion for analysts, but his current statistical output drives the market price.

The prediction market is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, a federal agency. Kalshi provides risk management tools such as trading breaks and funding limits for users. Event contracts involve the risk of substantial loss. Participation may be restricted in certain jurisdictions. The game offers a direct test of offensive execution for both teams.
