Police in Tel Aviv are investigating a suspected murder-suicide after finding two brothers dead from gunshot wounds on Monday morning. The men, one in his 50s and the other in his 70s, were located on Moshe Dayan Road. Initial findings indicate that the younger man fired the weapon before shooting himself.

The bodies were discovered close to a senior citizens' center and the entrance to a bank branch. A handgun was recovered from the vicinity of the scene. The incident occurred at 9:32 a.m., when Magen David Adom received a report of two injured individuals through its 101 emergency call center in the Dan region.

Medics and paramedics rushed to the location and found both men lying unconscious in the street. They had no pulse and were not breathing. After conducting medical examinations, the emergency crews pronounced both men dead at the scene.

Meir Grossman, an emergency medical technician with the MDA motorcycle unit, described the scene upon arrival. "We arrived at the scene quickly and saw two men lying in the street, unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing, with penetrating wounds on their bodies," Grossman said. He noted that the team performed medical examinations and was forced to declare their deaths at the location.

A report of the shooting reached the police 100 emergency hotline shortly after the MDA call. Officers from the South Tel Aviv station and police investigators responded to the site. They opened an investigation to determine the exact sequence of events. The inquiry was still active as of the initial report.

Residents in the immediate area reported being shaken by the sudden violence. One woman living nearby told Walla that the gunfire initially led her to fear a terror attack. "I heard gunshots under the building. At first I locked the windows; I thought maybe it was a terror attack, maybe there's a terrorist downstairs, and suddenly it was quiet and full of ambulances," she said.

The resident ran downstairs to investigate and found the two men lying on the sidewalk. "There's nothing as scary as that, to see such a difficult sight first thing in the morning. My whole body is still shaking; I can't believe it," she stated.
