Lis Vega selected Alicia Machado for the elimination vote on the reality series Juego de Villanos on Wednesday. This marks the second consecutive week Machado has been placed in the danger zone by the actress. The decision occurred during a new round of challenges that intensified competition among the remaining cast members.
Machado, a former Venezuelan beauty queen, was named alongside Alex Caniggia and Alex Ghita. These three contestants now face the risk of being the next to leave the show. Prior to this week, Sandra Itzel and Yina Calderón had already been eliminated from the competition.
Vega explained her choice by citing concerns for Machado's well-being. She stated that she wants to protect the former beauty queen, noting that she believes Machado's health is at risk within the current game dynamics. Vega did not provide specific details about which aspects of the competition she felt were threatening Machado's physical or mental state.
Machado responded to the accusation by asserting that she is in perfect health. She then issued a direct warning to Vega. Machado said that if she remains in the show, she will ensure Vega is the next contestant to be eliminated. This exchange marks a clear shift in their dynamic since Yina Calderón's departure earlier in the season.
No clear favorite emerged from the group of three nominees for elimination. The two male contestants, Caniggia and Ghita, have built stronger alliances with other cast members during the competition. Machado, however, has generated significant attention since the show began. The audience will decide which of the three is the third person to exit the program.
